The big news is that Miss Mae is sleeping in her crib in her nursery. When we got back from the trip, we noticed that she just wasn't sleeping well in her bassinet in our room anymore so we gave it a shot and she has been there the last three nights and had the best sleep she has had in months.
We are working on breaking the swaddle. If you thought she could just start sleeping without her beloved blanket you are wrong. We are leaving one arm out during naps and she is slowly able to handle it.
Our tv has a screensaver of pictures of animals the scroll really slowly and she loves to look at the animals!
She doesn't really like teethers but if there is fabric around she wants to chew it! All the lovey-s that she has gotten are well loved!
I sing to her when I put her down for a sleep and she chirps in and sings along. It is perhaps the best thing in the world.

ReplyDeleteHow sweet is that. I would love to have a video of you singing and her chiming in. I know you are enjoying every moment. I am so glad she is sleeping well in her crib. She is just growing up too fast. I love the picture. She must have seen something that made her really mad. She is precious even when she is frowning or smiling. Loved the post.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Mae on moving to your own room. And I'm sure part of the reason you are sleeping better is because it is quiet and peaceful like when you were all snug in your Mom's tummy. I won't mention Dad's snoring here. Oops!
